The first DETAIL Award for Aesthetics and Construction Detail celebrates excellent construction detail within an outstanding overall design. It is sponsored by DETAL in cooperation with the Bavarian Chamber of Architects and supported by Munich Trade Fairs, covertex, Pilkington and Kaufmann Bausysteme. In addition to the main prize, of 5,000 euros, special prizes of 1,000 euros were awarded in the categories of steel, plastics and timber, and for Eastern Europe. A student prize, of 1,000 euros, was split between two entries.
All films in the DETAIL Motion series are protected by copyright. The use of these works or any part thereof is permitted solely for private purposes and in accordance with the conditions of copyright law in the form valid at the respective time.
