London’s Housing Challenge

From April 24th to June 14th 2008, New London Architecture presents its biggest exhibition and event to date, focusing on London’s residential market. The exhibition “DES RES” will be accompanied by a programme of conferences, talks and events.

DES RES: London's Housing Challenge will explore issues affecting planning, designing and developing London's housing.

Since the capital’s population is growing faster than any other major European city, question arise about how to provide affordable, well-designed and well-built homes, how to meet the need for high-density sustainable housing, or who will build London’s new homes.

The following conferences are trying to find answers to these and many other questions:
