Modular ventilation unit

The DeeFly air supply and extraction system also possesses a warmth recovery function that removes energy from the warm used air and transfers it to the fresh air supply. The DeeFly 90 unit functions with a cross current flow heat exchanger and its high efficiency of 90% makes it eligible for subsidies under the KfW (Reconstruction Credit Institute) regulations. The modular composition makes it possible to place the ventilator and heat exchanger in different rooms. This not only simplifies the installation in restricted spaces but also has an energy advantage: each apartment in a multifamily house can have an individual heat exchanger module. This means that a person who heats more also gets more heating energy back – an interesting approach to ‘energy justice’.
