Solar-operated electric skylights

Scheduled ventilation and closing at twilight can be programmed and a sensor shuts the window automatically when rain starts to fall. The electric drive of this skylight is fed by an integrated photovoltaic module that provides the window with its own energy supply, independent of that of the house. This has great advantages when replacing old-fashioned windows during modernisation. It is not necessary to have an electrician connect the window to the current, and the inconvenience of noise and dirt experienced when laying cables is avoided. The system can also be supplied as a refit-set and uses the io-homecontrol radio standard that makes linkage with other VELUX Elektro-System products possible.
