
On December 3rd at 7 pm, Alejandro Zaera-Polo from Foreign Office Architects, who currently holds the Berlage Chair at the Technical University of Delft, will be giving a lecture at the Department of Architecture at the University of California inBerkeley.
On the same day, December 3rd at 7 pm, Owings & Merrill LLP will be presenting the Burj Dubai - discussing everything from the logistics involved in transporting people up the tallest building on earth, to how to deal with the condensation build up, when the desert heat meets the cool of the air-conditioned interior – at the Royal College of Physicians in London.
The French architect Anne Lacaton, co-founder of Lacaton & Vassal architects, who won this year’s National Grand Prix of Architecture, will give a lecture on December 4th at 7 pm in the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels.
