The Congress has been ushering in new thinking since the 1960s, and is considered by most to be a once in a lifetime experience - the highlight of an education.

The second Consense congress of the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB = Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen) takes place in Stuttgart on the 23rd and 24th of June. Among other things, the DGNB will be presenting innovations in its certification system.

From June 29 to July 3, 2008, the 23rd UIA World Congress of Architecture is being held in Torino. In September 2007, Uppsala opened its new Concert and Congress Hall which is located in the centre of the town. The 8 floors-high and 37 metres-tall building offers a spectacular view of the city, some of the landmarks that can be viewed being the Cathedral and the Castle of Uppsala.

The specialised congress "Process marketing for Architects" at the ICM / Munich Trade Fairs on 27.01.2006 was a real success! Over 200 visitors followed the lectures and used the opportunity to "network".
