The Unteres Remstal Arts Educational Centre and the Stihl Gallery of the town of Waiblingen in southwest Germany rest like two pebbles on the banks of the River Rems. Their slightly abstract air softens the transition between the narrow alleyways of the old town and the broad open spaces beyond.

From the 13th of December until the 17th of January the Architectural Gallery in Paris (La Galerie d’Architecture) will be exhibiting the work of Portuguese architect Gonçalo Byrne.

As part of the 2008 British Creative Exchange Season – a national event for celebrating the contribution of UK based international talent to the creative and cultural landscape – Zaha Hadid will be discussing her approach and views on modern UK creativity with Tim Marlow, Director of the White Cube Gallery, at the Victoria Miro Gallery in London on Monday 24 November at 6.45pm.

During a three-day event taking place in the Centre Convencions Internacional Barcelona (CCIB) from 22 – 24 October, the Festival will showcase and compare not only a wide range of international architecture but also regional projects.

Until April 23rd 2008, the Belgravia Gallery in London shows the exhibition “ART: ARCHITECTURE SHOW” with some of the biggest names in architecture.

Five contemporary artists present their interpretations of architecture in an exhibition at the PM Gallery, west London. The artists draw their inspiration from a variety of buildings and created paintings and photography that represents them. The exhibition is running from March 26 to April 26, 2008.

The Porter Gallery in the V&A Museum London will house the contemporary program of the V&A over the next ten years. The gallery, designed by Block Architecture, is situated next to the V&A's Grand Entrance and is separated from it by dramatic seven-metre-high rotating entrance doors clad in black carbon fibre.
