Architects’ Energy versus Global Crises

The Council of the International Union of Architects, meeting in San José (Costa Rica) on 15 – 16 February 2009, adopted the following theme for the 2009 World Day of Architecture: Architects’ Energy versus Global Crises.

From June 29 to July 3, 2008, the 23rd UIA World Congress of Architecture is being held in Torino. Hosted by the Conference, the fair ARCHITEKTONIKA, international exhibition of products, projects and processes for architecture, building and design, will take place at Oval Lingotto from June 30 to July 3, 2008. Teodoro Gonzalez De Leon will receive the 2008 UIA Gold medal

The jury of the 2008 UIA Gold medal decided in April 2008 to award the medal to the Mexican architect Teodoro Gonzalez de Leon. He will receive the medal at a ceremony, on 2 July 2008, during the twenty third UIA Congress in Turin.
