Situated in the centre of Hamburg, the building takes up the height of the neighbouring developments. A large proportion of the workplaces are oriented to a spacious glass-roofed courtyard, which forms the focus of the complex, functioning as an attractive entrance hall and recreation area, and accommodating a staircase and an impressive conference tract. The dominant element in the courtyard is the baroque-like spiral staircase, which, coupled with two glazed lifts, is set in front of one of the atrium façades. The balustrade details for the staircase are the same as those for the small balconies. A special feature of the construction are the curved channel-section staircase strings, which were manufactured by a complex rolling process.
