The three sales levels of this shop are situated in the plinth storey and basement of two adjoining buildings that have been linked together. As part of the refurbishment, the lower, glazed section of the façade was completely redesigned. The top floor is set back slightly, creating an open space over the entrance. The interior is fitted out with restrained, dark wood furnishings. The five top-lit, sandblasted acrylic-plastic partitions that project from the side wall represent one of the dominant features of the shop. They serve to articulate smaller compartments within this generous space. Their top edges are invisibly recessed in illuminated soffit slits, creating the impression that the panels are free of all structural constraints.
