Situated in Navarre in northern Spain, the estate comprises a number of existing buildings and a new linear development laid out in a form that reflects the various stages of wine production. The grapes arrive at the north-east corner and are pressed in an adjoining hall covered by a series of saddleback roofs that cantilever out over the forecourt. The fermentation process takes place in a smaller space, which receives north light through a monopitch shed roof. Adjoining this area is a long hall where the wine matures. Leading over the casks is a walkway raised on concrete columns, from which the double-pitched roof is supported on oak branch-like struts that also articulate the high internal space.
