The flowing suspended roof is constructed of 11 elements, each measuring 16.5 by 3 metres. The elements are constructed from gluelam scantlings threaded onto steel cables and pre-tensioned. The purpose of demonstrating a new product created by the client, a timber manufacturer, being achieved in a most innovative manner.
