With its restrained architectural language, this small chapel is carefully integrated into the extensive grounds of a vineyard estate. A new swimming pool has also been erected nearby, and the existing buildings have been restored. The grey granite entrance facade of the chapel forms a bold contrast to the white rendered concrete walls on the other three sides. The warm tones of the wood furnishings and the subtle natural lighting through a translucent alabaster window slab make the interior a still place for withdrawal and contemplation.
