With the exception of its glazed long faces, this single-storey linear pavilion is clad entirely in stainless-steel lattice mesh. Consisting of strips 0.4 mm thick and 50 mm wide, the woven mesh was manufactured to fixed lengths on a specially developed loom and worked by hand at the corners of the building to maintain the impression of a seamless outer skin.
