The Villa Garbald by Gottfried Semper in Castasegna - the most southerly of his buildings – has been thoroughly renovated. Rejuvenated to become the new seminar centre for the Federal Institute of Technology, Zurich, it has been extended by a new residential building which is well integrated into the built fabric of the village.
