Although legislation in the United States has not given energy-saving architecture the boost one might have hoped for in recent years, a critical environmental awareness is developing in that country. Architects are proposing many solutions between high and low technology, as well as presenting local and global interpretations in this field which are as diverse as the climatic and cultural contexts for which they are created.
