Riken Yamamoto developed a prototype for a light-weight aluminium construction system for a manufacturer of aluminium profiles and furniture. The system optimises the particular characteristics of aluminium. A particularly efficient and economical system was developed by reducing the individual components to a minimum number of high-precision, standard extruded profiles.
To date, a residential house, a florist shop and a beach house have all been constructed with this system.
