DGNB Seal of Quality - Sustainable in every Respect
Magazine p. 4 - 6Author Frank Peter Jäger |
The German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB) certified a total of 28 buildings at the beginning of 2009. Three projects that were awarded the Gold category (Paul-Wunderlich-Haus in Eberswalde, etrium Cologne, Europe Plaza in Stuttgart) are used to exemplify the requirements of the certification as well as to present details about the awarding procedure. A comparison of the DGNB certification with other international certifications is also made.
