Practice Reloaded - A Revolution of Choice

discussion    p. 1304 - 1308
Author Frank Barkow |

Our work as architects has changed. In our daily lives at architect firms, digital production plays a central role. The close collaboration between architects, students, engineers and manufacturing plants has encouraged us to use an experimental approach and has anchored this continuously developing technology in the centre of our activity. For this, we’ve developed different instruments:
The “active archiving”
The assembly atlas
The prototype as an experimental instrument
The factory as a location to experiment
The gallery as a location to experiment
The pavilion: experimental typology
