There are many different elements to the concept of simplicity in building, of course: formal considerations, the materials used, the various functions involved, the organization of the layout, and not least the actual structure. With emphasis placed mainly on projects with simple and economical forms of construction, it is interesting to see how they comply with the relevant briefs and building standards and how they respond to local climatic conditions.
