Glare and Heat Protection

With its new Glare & Heat collection, Création Baumann is expanding its range of highly functional textiles that provide glare, solar and heat protection in the office. The collection of the Swiss textile company includes 15 products and over 90 neutral tones, including white, silver and warm grey. Face is a two-sided curtain that combines a glossy white reflective exterior with a dark printed interior without metallisation. Textured flame yarn gives the fabric Cloud a more homely, tactile character. For high reflection, the reverse side of the textile is aluminium metallised. All Glare & Heat textiles are flame retardant and have been tested for harmful substances according to Oeko-Tex Standard 100. In the Sukagawa Community Center (photo) in Fukushima, Japan, the textiles Steel Base and the blackout and acoustic fabric Secret from the Glare & Heat collection were used.
