A dashing sight: The Defender styled by Paul Smith

Using a rich palette of hues, the colour wizard Paul Smith has given the Defender an outfit all of its own, right down to the last detail. No less than 27 different shades of colour have found use in the off-roader, inspired by the British landscapes for which the Defender has come to symbolise, while recalling the vehicle's reliable service history with the Army, Air Force and Navy.

Naturally Paul Smith's signature look is visible not only on the outside but also in the interior, as shown by seats in a mix of leather and fabrics, the latter with the design he had developed for Maharam, an American label.

Now comes the bad news for all those interested in this many-hued means of transport: The wagon is an exclusive production in collaboration with Land Rover for the designer's own use, meaning the model is a one-off version.
