Bathroom according to principles of universal design without barriers for disabled. Space beneath washbasin and next to WC allows people in wheelchairs to use the room without assistance. Mirror drawn down lower enables residents to see themselves when seated. Special accents are set by the ceiling lighting, which helps people with restricted vision. In the shower area, a wall bracket provides unobtrusive aid. Heinrich Schütz Residence, Dresden, 2008; architects: feddersenarchitekten
