For the external walls and fire walls of this seven-storey housing block insulating concrete with a relative density of 1.4 kg/m3 was used, to which pulverized fuel ash, lightweight volcanic sand and expanded clay were added. Sample cubes of the specified mix showed a thermal conductivity of 0.38 W/m·K. As a result, the external walls, with a minimum thickness of 55 cm, achieve a U-value of 0.618 W/m2K.
