To achieve the very thin edges to the cantilever roof, the section was reinforced with 2.5 m wide strips of stainless steel reinforcement. The high-strength lightweight concrete with porous aggregate (LC 45/50, 1600kg/m3) has higher strength than normal lightweight concrete. Relatively stiff in terms of flowability, it requires expert handling. Tests in advance verified the strength and flowability characteristics.
