The Wall House (2015) project is situated beyond the proposed urban boundary of Auroville in Auromodele, an area for research and experimentation. This dwelling house is attuned to everyday
needs and can be easily extended to accommodate guests. Spatial boundaries and transitional realms are subject to a new definition here that reflects climatic conditions as well as modern
needs. Perforated doors and sunshade elements of ferrocement ensure ventilation and natural light. A focus of the project is the use of environmentally friendly building materials and energy-efficient
technology.
