The initial prototype of this children’ s pavilion was erected in Citadines, a residential district in the centre of Auroville. It consisted originally of recycled corrugated cardboard that was meant to act as formwork. Because of a number of unresolved problems, this prototype was finally implemented without shuttering, whereby the identical rhomboid elements were created in separate frames,
assembled on site and rendered on both faces.
