In Taasinge Plads in Copenhagen landscape architects GHB used rainwater as a playful element. A green retention basin takes up the water that runs off the square. Rainwater from the roofs of the surrounding buildings enters an underground reservoir. From there it can be pumped back to the surface by means of tilting elements in the paving.
