Designed by C+S Architects, this new building facing the Piazzale Roma, one of the entrances to the city, recalls the metaphysical scenes of Giorgio de Chirico. Clad in pre-oxidised copper, the courthouse building that adjoins the red brick courthouse complex contrasts starkly with the pale ribbon facade of the neighbouring multistorey car park.
