
On the upper floors the ceilings consist of weathered, reused formwork boards. Thick sandstone pillars set at 160 cm intervals support the ceiling and roof construction. In the lateral wing of the northern part of the building, narrow barrel vaults secure the free standing pillars against lateral buckling.
