Architects Mio Tsune- yama and Fuminori Nousaku are pursuing the possibilities of a Japanese architectural revolution. In addition to their work in adaptive reuse – a relatively new topic in Japan – the couple is researching the relationship between urban spaces and ecosystems. Earlier this year, their work was presented in a solo exhibition at the renowned Toto Gallery Ma in Tokyo.
