After completing his studies in 2014, Søren Pihlmann cofounded an architectural practice with Kim Lenschow in Copenhagen. In 2021, he founded Pihlmann Architects with a focus on experimental adaptive reuse. As part of the 2025 Venice Architecture Biennale, Pihlmann is renovating the Danish pavilion under the title “Build of Site”.
