The architect and professor at the University of Hong Kong was born in Taiwan and emigrated to the USA in 1983. He received a professional degree in architecture from The Cooper Union in 2002. Together with Joshua Bolchover, John Lin founded the Rural Urban Framework (RUF), a research and design platform that develops sustainable prototypes for communities affected by rapid urbanisation in China and beyond.
