
Before Dorte Mandrup founded her own studio, Dorte Mandrup Arkitekter, in 1999, she worked at Fuglsang & Mandrup-Poulsen and at Henning Larsen Architects. Born in Copenhagen in 1961, Mandrup first studied medicine and sculpture before beginning her architecture studies in Aarhus in 1989. Among her most significant projects are the Wadden Sea Centre in Denmark and the Icefjord Centre in Greenland.
