Object+Product: Community Centre in Breitenwang
With the construction of the community centre and the central Max Kerber Square, Barbist Architektur succeeded in creating a new centre for the municipality of Breitenwang in Tyrol. The design emerged from an invited competition in 2008. The concept for the community centre goes far beyond a traditional civic building. The three-part building unites several local institutions under one roof. The modern, open architectural style, incorporating regional references and a sustainable choice of materials, ensures successful integration into the urban context and makes a striking statement.
