Villa F is located in the south of Uffenheim in Franconia. The house is nestled within a park, surrounded by mature trees. Its prominent location demanded a sophisticated and innovative design. Architect Martin Schroth successfully convinced the client of his plan – not least because this project marked his first use of parametric design principles for a single-family home. This was a novelty, as firms like Zaha Hadid Architects and LAVA have been employing this design methodology for years to address complex requirements and volumes. Nevertheless, all of them, including Martin Schroth, represent the avant-garde in a planning world that remains largely bound to two dimensions, as recent studies confirm.
