Object+Product: Kühne+Nagel Centre in Hamburg
The fastest-growing district in HafenCity is currently the Sandtorpark/Grasbrook quarter. Thanks to the rapid demolition of the old N.H.L. Hinsch & Cons coffee warehouse, a large portion of the land is available for redevelopment earlier than originally planned in the master plan. Besides the software company SAP, the logistics group Kühne+Nagel is among the pioneers of HafenCity. Their recently inaugurated German headquarters, which consolidates the company's three previously scattered offices throughout the city, is currently the tallest building in the new district.
