Situated on the outskirts of Barcelona close to a roundabout with heavy traffic, this gleaming white development is nevertheless quiet and enjoys a grand view over the city to the sea beyond. The plinth structure, trapezoidal on plan, accommodates falls of more than three metres in ground level and forms the base for an L-shaped development along the north and east edges with flats optimally oriented to the sun. The public uses housed in the plinth are independent of the dwellings and lend the scheme the function of a social centre, serving to integrate it into the area. Located here is a street entrance for users from the district.
