Administration Building in Berlin
The first project to be realised in the new “Europacity” district located north of Berlin’s Central Station – this 18-storey high-rise draped in a highly articulated facade and visible from afar – sets the bar high for the development that will follow. The dimensioning of the “Tour Total” allows for both daylighting and natural ventilation of the office spaces. The building’s orientation adheres to the specifications of the site’s master plan. In order to set up a subtle dialogue with the urban context, the architects introduced a certain dynamism by modulating the building massing and the facades.
