Object+Product: »energy+ Home« in Nieder-Ramstadt
As part of a research project at the Technical University of Darmstadt, Professor Tichelmann and his team explored forward-looking concepts for the energy-efficient renovation of existing buildings. Using a typical 1970s residential building as a case study, they aimed to demonstrate how combining appropriate measures could significantly reduce the energy consumption of such a building. Furthermore, the goal was to transform the former energy guzzler with its outdated ambiance into a model energy-plus house of high design quality – the "energy+ Home."
