Object+Product: Raiffeisenbank Im Rheintal, Dornbirn
How an aging bank building was modernized can be seen in the centre of Dornbirn. To reduce operating costs, maintain its central location, and offer employees and customers a modern environment, Raiffeisenbank Rheintal decided to further renovate the existing building. The necessary measures required a competition, which was won by the Bregenz-based firm Bechter Zaffignani Architekten. In addition to energy-efficient upgrades and an expansion of the usable floor space through the addition of another story, the building is now characterized above all by its adaptable facade.
