Bus Station in Haldensleben
With this new central bus station, the municipal authorities wished to set an urban accent to upgrade an area in which the local railway station is situated. Laid out in the form of a rectangular island with two bus stops on each side, this new facility is located immediately next to the forecourt of the train station. Semicircular glazed screens protect the seating benches for each stop against the wind. The middle of the island is planted with trees, and the circular surrounds to the raised flower beds serve as occasional seats.
