The seminal space about which the ensemble was developed was the ruin of a former stone granary, which now serves as the living room. A pitched roof was inserted into the rubble stone walls of the existing building, and on the south-facing garden side, a glazed façade was added with adjustable louvers to regulate light and the indoor climate. The bedrooms are housed in a separate cubic structure turned at a slight angle to the living area. The two elements are linked by a lower tract containing the entrance, dining room and kitchen.
