Well integrated into the landscape, this holiday house reflects vernacular traditions in its architecture and the use of local materials. The long, narrow form is enclosed by massive external walls built of fieldstones, with small windows set diagonally opposite each other. The windowless north gable end bears the brunt of the wind. The south face opens out to the landscape in the form of a panorama window. On plan, the house is divided into four sections, linked by a peripheral corridor. Two sections comprise bedrooms and bathrooms. The other two are taken up by the living and dining rooms and the kitchen.
