House in South Germany

The brief required the conversion and extension of a 19th-century listed building into a single-family house with a caretaker's flat. The load-bearing walls of the main structure were retained, but the layout was reorganized. The staircase was removed, and a new glazed entrance and staircase tract now links the historical structure and the extension. On the ground floor are the dining room, music room, working rooms, kitchen and utility room.
