The two elongated wings of this complex take up the curving line of the street. At their point of intersection is a sheltered forecourt leading to the main entrance and a transparent foyer. The centre houses a wide range of activities, with clearly legible seminar and lecture rooms, a bookshop, and five flatlets in the roof storey. The use of rough, unpolished materials leaves scope for the users to take possession of the building themselves. The outer walls are in concrete block masonry in a cavity form of construction.
