House in Barcelona
This two-storey house is situated on a corner site in Can Ganxet, a district of Barcelona. The living room, dining area and kitchen on the ground floor are oriented to a south-facing patio, which leads on to the garden to the west. The first-floor terrace area over the patio is enclosed by solid masonry parapet walls and open metal balustrading. These external spaces and the openings in the walls seem to be cut out of the clear cubic form of this brick-faced building.
