Kindergarten in Freiburg
The building is screened off with solid walls on three sides and opens to the south with a fully glazed façade that allows a visual integration of the outdoor play area in front of it. Service and ancillary spaces are laid out on the north side, group rooms along the south face. Between these two zones is a long central hall and play space. Over the north part of the building is a flat roof; the southern section is covered with a lightly sloping roof with a north-light fold to the rear. The glazing to the south face has the same thickness throughout, but consists of different types of glass.
