With the erection of two new covered entrances, an attempt was made to redress the disadvantages suffered by disabled users. The entrances lead to a ground-floor reception area from which there is access to all other buildings on the campus. Additional amenities include WCs for handicapped persons, parking spaces and a set-down zone near the entrance. The structure was conceived as an independent element and bridges a 1 m difference in level. Its bold form also signals the location of the entrance.
