The basement of this conversion houses a gallery, the ground floor general areas and access; a flat is on the top floor and an advertising agency on the first floor. Its location in a castle buildings complex demanded particular consideration. In the agency, both integration and separation of work areas is achieved by means of fixed units and sliding partition frames of perforated sheet suspended from two intersecting lines of black U-section at ceiling height. Cabling is easily routed along these sections and down through the black partition walls to the work place. In addition to the strip lighting along the U-sections, the work places are further illuminated by a grid of fluorescent tubes resting in a punched aluminium frame.
